FEATURES

  • Light weight, but rigid, 'L' shaped plastic splint to maintain ankle foot angle at 90 degrees
  • Horizontal plastic splint with holes for the adjustment of the angle of tilt (25 degrees on either side) prevents the leg from rotation during sleep
  • Double side laminated foam envelope for spacy accomodation

APPLICATIONS

  • Night time splinting of foot to prevent achilles tendon contractures during prolongated bed rest
  • Prevention of foot drop contracture by supporting the foot in correct functional alignment during sleep
  • Derotation foot splinting to prevent hip rotation following surgical procedure

HOW TO WEAR

  • Identify the horizontal plate double screw system.
  • Attach the horizontal plate to the 'L' plate with a screw (third hole out of five holes) for natural position.
  • Open the laminated foam envelope and place the affected foot.
  • Use velcro closure for comfortable fit.
  • Change of screw position may be required for any tilt of 12 degrees.
